Jo Birznieks BA MCIPD
Since graduating in 1978 from Nottingham University, Jo has worked
in a variety of HR roles within blue chip and large manufacturing
Companies including Northern Foods, Mansfield Breweries and Padleys,
both in front facing and corporate development positions, prior to
setting up JAK HR Associates Ltd in 2002.
Des McHugh BA MCIPD
A Human Resources professional with over 30 years experience, Des
operated at Director/main board level for the previous 12 years
before joining JAK in 2005. Since graduating in 1974 from Newcastle
University, Des has had experience in plc's, Limited Companies,
Public Authorities and Joint Venture businesses , principally within
Transport, Water, Shipping and Food Manufacturing industries.
JAK have worked with us on a number of staff development
initiatives, the most recent as tutor for our ILM Team Leader Award,
a nationally accredited qualification. JAK ensured that the
workshops were interesting, varied, interactive and very relevant to
our specific business. I have no hesitation in recommending them as
an excellent training provider due to their professionalism, subject
knowledge and ability to take learning and understanding to another
level.
